Tournament Sign-up: FFL Macaw @ FAU Jupiter

Deadline to sign up: TUESDAY, JANUARY 29
Arrive at the FAU campus in Jupiter no later than 7:45 a.m.
$15 entry fee (incudes lunch) due by Tuesday, January 29
Entry limits: 8 per event (2 for Group Interp). Half of these are dedicated to freshman-specific entries.
Double entry and double qualification is permitted, except in Policy Debate, Lincoln Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate, Group Interpretation, and Student Congress. Also, double entry in U.S. Extemp and International Extemp is prohibited. There is no additional cost for students who double-enter.
There are no novice-specific events at this tournament
Competitors should plan on staying after school Friday, February 8, to review and coordinate car pools (if needed), rehearse or research, etc.
Coach Gaba will need assistance Friday, February 8, after the meeting coordinating and organizing paperwork for the tournament. Yes, students receive points for their point sheet AND volunteer hours!
This tournament is the gateway into participation in FFL activities for the remainder of the year. The top four Macaw entries in each event will qualify to compete at the State Championship tournament, which will be held on February 29 and March 1 at Niceville HS in Niceville (Okaloosa County). Fifth and sixth places are alternates.
Student Congress: we may send as many items of legislation as students who are entering. Full text legislation is due to Coach Gaba by Friday, January 18.
