Tentative Tournament Schedule 2007-08
"LOCAL" TOURNAMENTS
These are the six Saturday tournaments that are "covered" by the $125 start-of-year donation:
September 15 - PBCFL All-Congress at Martin County HS
October 13 - PBCFL All-Events with novice-specific competition in Mixed Extemporaneous Speaking and Duo Interpretation, at Jupiter HS
November 10 - PBCFL All-Events with novice-specific competition in Oral Interpretation and Lincoln Douglas Debate, at W.T. Dwyer HS
December 15 - PBCFL All-Novice at Lake Worth HS
January 12 - PBCFL All-Events with novice-specific competition in Original Oratory, Dramatic Performance and Public Forum Debate, at Seminole Ridge HS
February 9 - PBCFL All-Events, no novice-specific competition, at Palm Beach Central HS
If students compete in at least two of these six tournaments, they are eligible for consideration to compete at the 2008 PBCFL "Grand Finals" National Championship qualifier tournament the weekend of Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8. At least five students/pairs in each qualifying debate event will advance to the NCFL National Championships from this tournament. The 2008 NCFL Grand Nationals takes place in Appleton, Wisconsin, over Memorial Day Weekend.

Saturday, February 2 - Florida Forensic League Macaw Region state championship qualifier, Site TBD
Friday, February 29 and Saturday, March 1 - Florida Forensic League Varsity State Championships, Niceville HS, Niceville
Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 - National Forensic League Panther District National Qualifier, Trinity Prep, Orlando FL
Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 - Florida Forensic League Novice State Championships, Timber Creek HS, Orlando
OUT OF STATE TOURNAMENTS
Thursday, January 24 through Monday, January 28 - Barkley Forum for High School Students, Emory University, Atlanta GA
June 14-21 - National Forensic League National Championships, Las Vegas NV
